Vesa-Matti Loiri is also known under the pseudonym Vescu (Finnish Vesku) – Finnish film actor, singer, flutist; Representative of Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1980. The actor received a great fame for his comedic role of Uuno Turhapuro (this character, played by Loiri, appeared in a total of twenty films from 1973 to 2004). As a musician, Loiri performed for a long time with the songs of Perttu Hietanen. They were sold about a million copies of their debut album, for which he also received several prestigious awards. Vesia-Matti Loiri is also fond of sports (especially billiards), and for several years even held the post of chairman of the Finnish billiards association.
